Welcome to Igbo Wikiquote

Hello, Daberechi16, and also ping to Love4sure, Onyeike Izuchi, Olugold, Timzy D'Great.

As you can see, the Igbo Wikiquote has now officially been created. Thank you very much for all your hard work on it so far, it has finally paid off!

All the content has been imported here from the Wikimedia Incubator, and the wiki is ready to be edited. However, when a wiki is brand new, there are usually a few issues:

• The statistics on Special:Statistics (and via magic words like {{NUMBEROFPAGES}}) all show 0 at the moment. This will update within a day.
• Connecting to Wikidata is not yet enabled, but will be soon (and when it is, my bot will go over all pages with the INTERWIKI template and add them to Wikidata so you don't have to do so manually).
• Visual editor might not work properly yet. It should work for creating new pages, but you may experience an error if you try to edit exitsing pages with it.

The next step for your communtiy is probably to establish a village pump if one doesn't exist yet, and to elect one or more administrators for the project to help with maintenance.
